Councillors Ana Román and María del Carmen Jiménez visited El Juncal and Doña Ermita parks, which are both entering the final status of their respective improvements and upgrading projects, to members of neighbour associations to hear their views on the works.
The park at Doña Ermita has had its childrens’ games area nearly doubled in size, and as Román explained, “been adapted to cater for those with diabilities.” Work at El Juncal includes improving the green areas and planting of new trees and bushes.
During the visit, residents demanded more police to avoid pet owners leaving their animals’ droppings in the park. The request will be forwarded to the Mayor.
